Statistica reports that the biggest problem faced by small business owners in 2012 is Poor sales, so marketing is definitely an important aspect of business success, but marketing is only one part of the sales process, and as you can see in the chart below, Poor sales isn’t the only issue facing small business owners either.
Government requirements & red tape and Taxes are a very close 2nd and 3rd and there are many more critical issues that small business owners face on a daily basis.
I’m guessing that 2013 is just going to bring more of the same, and depending on what the government does related to the Fiscal Cliff, things for Small Business might even get significantly worse before it gets better (if it ever does).
All of these issues require a solution that you can either try and figure out all by yourself, or get help with.
How much time, energy and effort is it going to take for you to figure them all out on your own, on an island all by yourself?
And how successful are you going to be doing that?
You don’t have to do it all along, by yourself.
I know I struggle sometimes with thinking I have to do everything myself, but you don’t get any extra points for doing so. It is just harder and takes longer for the solution to come, because you are reinventing the wheel.
Wouldn’t it be better to take a shortcut and get some help?
Help from someone that has already been there and done that and has the answers already figured out?
