In order to succeed in business, you need to have the business skills necessary in order to make that happen.
The best part about that is that all the required business skills are learnable. You can learn what you need to know in order to be successful in business and then best way to do that is to take advantage of someone else’s experience.
Sure you can try and learn the necessary skills on your own, but that is what the 99% of failures have done, and it didn’t seem to work for them very well. (I think his statistic on failures at 99% is a little exaggerated. I’ve heard 80% within 5 years, but let’s just go with his number for this discussion.)
If you want to succeed in your first business venture, then you want to avoid what the failure 99% are doing and instead do what the successful 1% are doing.
The 1% that succeed out of that bunch got help that allowed them to succeed. They got coached or mentored by someone with the business skills necessary in order to succeed.
They used someone else’s experience as their own to gain the skills necessary in order to succeed in their first business venture.
